Family Counseling and/or Therapy for Children 2-18 age group who have experienced or witnessed some sort of trauma in their lives. CFI is able to provide free counseling services to at risk children/youth do not have the insurance to cover counseling services. Can accommodate all languages. To be eligible you must have a referral (You can make a self-referral) from a county agency such as A. C. C. E. S. S. or call the CFI Referral Line: (916) 921-0828.
Medi-Cal Eligible? - No cost for services: Abuse - ADHD - Anger Management - Domestic Violence - Depression - Family Issues - Defiance - Foster Home Placement - School Behavioral Problems - Social Skills Building.
What types of victimization are treated? Physical Abuse - Sexual Abuse - Emotional Abuse - Neglect - Parental Substance Abuse - Child Abduction - Bullying at school - Domestic Violence.
Psychiatric care through a variety of services including: Psychiatric assessment and diagnoses - Medication management - Assessment of physical conditions - Coordination of care with Primary Care Providers (PCPs).
Family Center located at our Performance Drive site (Monday-Thursday from 2:00pm to 6:00pm) which is available to children between the ages of 2 to 17 years old. The purpose of the center is for children to have positive interactions while engaging in age-appropriate activities including arts, crafts and dramatic play.

Offered to the community, parents and professionals who serve children and families in the recognition and response to child abuse (Mandated Child Abuse Reporting Training), define and support the impacts of violence on children, positive discipline and other related child development topics.
